Where does one struggling with gender identity issues go to when no place is safe to talk about the most personal issues we deal with as human beings? I want to ask you a question: Has the church or religion, failed to be that safe place? Why do Christians get so defensive, mean, and lose compassion when the topic of gender identity issues is brought up? How should the church respond to the LGTBQ agenda? Is there a way to love without affirming the gay life style? To discuss this question today is my special guest Ken Williams. After a life of hopelessness and a suicidal season over his sexual identity and same sex desires, he discovered that Jesus offered real inner healing and intimate relationship. Since then Ken has worked tirelessly to help others experience the same hope and transformation he found. Today Ken is now married to his beautiful wife and they have four children together. He is a pastor in Redding, California.
