Haiti Despair and Hope Part 1

Apr 19, 2022    Joni Eareckson Tada

In January of 2010, a cataclysmic earthquake struck the already impoverished nation of Haiti, causing unimaginable destruction. Thousands of children and adults suffered disabling injuries - broken legs, backs, necks – and received little or no medical attention. In these two powerful episodes, Joni and Friends visits Haiti to find ways to help. Suffering is eased as therapists offer their expertise and provide wheelchairs. But in this country, where devastation and despair seem insurmountable, the only real source of hope is Jesus Christ. Join us in discovering how we can join Christian churches in Haiti to ease the suffering and share the Gospel in word and deed.
