Help, Hope, and Healing in the Storms

On Daily Faith, our guest today is from the greater New Orleans area, Pastor Dennis Watson. He is the Senior Pastor of Celebration Church in Metairie, LA, with eight campus locations in the United States and other Nations. He is here to talk about weathering the storms of life. His church has seen and endured its fair share of storms and despair over the last decade, but one thing remains true, and that is Jesus Christ, their solid rock. With hurricane Katrina, they lost over 60% of their congregations and were down to serving two church campuses, but they remained faithful to the Lord and dedicated to their communities. The body of Christ rallied together across the area in response to these devastating storms, and Celebration Church has increased in campus locations! God has genuinely kept His promises, never to leave them, nor forsake them in times of trouble, and has provided for their needs. Pastor Dennis wants you to know that storms are a part of life; however, what matters is how we respond to them before, during, and after. When we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith, He will be faithful to see us through whatever circumstance comes our way.
